Perpetually in demand for all occasions, The Groove Marmalade continues to leave its mark across Toronto and beyond, as it ignites events such as corporate functions, weddings, anniversaries, and private birthday parties. With its collection of repertoire that covers mainly Soul, Motown, R&B and a lot of the Stax/Atlantic catalogue, plus everything from light Jazz to Disco dancing to authentic Latin grooves, it’s no wonder that this band never rests!
The Groove Marmalade draws its musicians from across the world, each with a unique background. Members hail from Germany, Israel, Mexico, the US and Canada. These seasoned musicians share formal training from institutions such as Canada’s prestigious Humber College Music program and Mexico’s National Music School. The result is a wonder to see onstage, bringing all your favourite classic tunes to life before your eyes!
If you have a particular favourite song you’d like us to perform, please contact us in advance and we will try to arrange it especially for you.
We have the equipment (sound and light) necessary to cover any stage and venue of any capacity whether it’s indoors or outdoors, for tens, hundreds or even thousands of guests.
